Community Power

Typically, community power proponents include, local residents, farm collaboratives, co-ops, First Nations, municipalities and other institutions working to develop local sustainable energy projects. Anyone can become a member and later invest. By participating in our co-operative opportunities you are keeping ownership and profits local – where it belongs!

Ownership models vary as does the percentage of local ownership. In some cases, co-ops have joint ventures with other members, municipalities, utilities and the private sector.
